Video, Photo Recaps of World of Concrete 2018

The World of Concrete (WOC) 2018 show concluded on Friday, January 26, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with attendees briefed on technological developments across all concrete and masonry sectors. The event was described by organizers as the largest World of Concrete in nine years.

WOC is the industry’s only annual international event dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries, with a stated mission to bring international buyers together with U.S. exhibitors to expand business domestically and overseas. The educational program encompassed everything from interactive workshops and specialized seminars to hands-on, skill-building sessions.

With ~60,000 attendees and ~1,500 supplier exhibitors, including many directly relevant to coatings contractors, WOC 2018 offered numerous networking and educational opportunities ranging from technical training sessions on the latest construction and worksite techniques to professional development workshops focused on business and management.

The 2018 event also incorporated special product and action areas on the trade show floor, including demonstrations of a producer center; material handling; concrete repair and demolition; world of masonry; and construction technology. Other areas were used to spotlight products and technologies in the decorative concrete, precast, concrete masonry, and concrete reinforcement sectors.

CoatingsPro Magazine was on hand each day of the conference with regular photo galleries and videos from the exhibition areas to keep readers apprised on the latest news and technologies. Here’s a sampling of our collection:
