The VaproShield window flashing system for window and door interfaces, uses the VaproLiqui-Flash liquid applied Waterproof Flashing material applied over the VaproFlashing SA which is installed over the sill, jambs and head:
• The VaproFlashing SA is the same material as the WrapShield SA, but is pre-cut into 11” or 19” widths for flashing.
• VaproLiqui-Flash comes in gun-able 20 oz. (567 g) sausages and must be applied with a standard 20 oz. sausage gun.
• Bonds and cures on damp or wet substrates.
• May be exposed for up to 6 months prior to covering with primary exterior cladding.
• Non-corrosive and adds self-sealing properties to fastener penetrations.
• VaproShield’s flashing system has VaproShield’s 20 year material warranty.
• It will not support mold growth, whereas most peel-&-stick flashings trap moisture and contributes to mold and mildew growth.
• It meets the energy code requirement for Air Barriers,
• It requires no primer and emits zero VOC’s.
