Construction Supply Group (CSG), a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, is expanding its footprint by purchasing 5 branches of Gerdau Construction Products effective April 18, 2017. The locations included in the sale are Urbana and Decatur in Illinois, Eldridge Iowa, and Madison and Appleton in Wisconsin. The transaction closed Monday, May 1, 2017. CSG will be dividing the branches between Stetson Building Products, LLC. and Brock White Construction Supplies (under the brand name of BW Supply). Stetson will acquire these 4 Gerdau locations: Madison, Wisconsin; Decatur, Illinois; Urbana, Illinois and Eldridge, Iowa. Brock White/BW Supply will acquire the Appleton, Wisconsin location. This transformation will strengthen Stetson's and Brock White/BW Supply's ability to serve all customers in these territories.
Going forward, we expect to continue in a "business as usual" mode. All normal lines of communication will remain unchanged.
