Protective Industrial Products, Inc. This will make PIP the first North American based safety company to incorporate the patented Mips (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) helmet-based technology into their products, starting with the PIP Dynamic Rocky safety helmet, as well as other upcoming models.

The updated version of the Dynamic Rocky safety helmet with Mips technology is expected to launch in the third quarter of this year. The ANSI type II hard hat is made of a Polycarbonate/ABS shell and has an integrated high-density inner shell foam liner that will work in conjunction with the Mips technology designed to decrease rotational motion otherwise transferred to the head from certain oblique impacts.
