The Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) is proud to announce it will host the world’s largest corrosion and protective coatings event March 6-10, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. The first event of its kind, the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo 2022 will combine two world renowned events, CORROSION by NACE International and Coatings + by SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings.
AMPP’s new conference will feature everything attendees valued from the legacy events including technical exchange and innovation, networking, and opportunities for collaboration. Attendees can also expect valuable programming throughout AMPP’s technical sessions, standards and administrative meetings, and exposition featuring hundreds of exhibitors from around the world. AMPP will offer select content virtually on demand following the event.
The featured keynote speaker for the event is former U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Ray Lahood who will provide an in-depth analysis of the current state of infrastructure and how the 2021 U.S. Infrastructure and Jobs Act will affect the corrosion and protective coatings sector. Lahood will share insights into how the U.S. government prioritizes infrastructure projects and what industry professionals need to know about existing policies and sustainability initiatives.
