Advanced Polymer Coatings (APC) extended their relationship with Coating Systems & Supply (CSS) as ChemLINE® coatings applicator in the United States for Tank Containers. The signing of the contract extends a more than 16 year working relationship between the two companies, which began in 2005 between David Keehan, APC President, and John Ravenberg, president of CSS.

When asked what sticks out most with regards to the working relationship between the two companies, Mr. Ravenberg replied, “Family. It is a family company.” The relationship between the two companies started on a handshake agreement with APC’s founder Don Keehan. In 2005 CSS contacted, now APC president, David Keehan on a barge project for a company based out of Houston, TX. Over the years of working together, CSS has applied ChemLINE® coatings on close to 200 barges, spanning from 10,000 to up to 30,000 barrels in size. David Keehan states, “CSS and The Ravenberg Family have been a valuable partner for many years. They have a strong reputation of quality and integrity.”

This partnership provides the ability for both companies to service the growing ISO tank container market in the United States. APC has been a supplier of coatings for thousands of containers in Europe and China thorough the years with their other strategic partners. With CSS coming into the program, this will allow them to bring that same quality and service to the US market for years to come.
