Stuart Dean Co., Inc. partners with Mid America Metals

  
Mid America Metals and Stuart Dean Co., Inc. announced today that they have formed a partnership to expand and enhance their businesses in the Southeast and Midwest regions of the U.S.  Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“This strategic alliance is great news for our customers, our employees and our shareholders,” said Bruce Hallett, President & CEO of Stuart Dean.  “We expect to grow and develop this relationship with Mid America Metals starting today and into the years ahead.”

“Mid America Metals believes that it grows best where it is planted,” said Brandon Donat, President & CEO of Mid America Metals.  “This transaction exactly fits that strategy.”

Under the terms of the deal, Mid America Metals will become a Stuart Dean Certified Vendor and acquire all the locally generated contracts Stuart Dean has in states south of Virginia and east of the Mississippi River.  Stuart Dean will also partner with Mid America Metals to execute its National Account work in the region. Stuart Dean will continue to manage the National Account relationships.

In the Midwest cities of St. Louis, Kansas City and Denver, the two companies contemplate that Mid America Metals will partner to perform the National Account work.
