Organized each year by the Insulation Contractors Association of America (ICAA), the annual ICAA Convention & Trade Show will be held at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona, from Wednesday, October 9 through Saturday, October 12.

According to event organizers, the annual ICAA show one-stop shop to learn, network and discover the latest in product innovations for the industry.

The two-and-half-day educational program is built on attendee feedback and includes sessions that run the gamut from business operations to building science. Meanwhile, the accompanying Trade Show features a lineup of the industry’s leading suppliers and manufacturers, all under one roof.

Educational Highlights

Wednesday features a special pre-convention workshop from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. local time titled Energy Code Compliance: From Adoption to Implementation.

On Thursday, which serves as the official first day of the event, topics potentially of relevance to contractors may include Transitioning from Traditional Insulation Contractor to Building Enclosure Expert (10:15 a.m.); The Future is Now: Setting Yourself Up for Success (1:00 p.m.); and the Evening Reception hosted by CertainTeed (6:00 p.m.)

On Friday, sessions feature Fall Protection and OSHA: How to be Safe and Compliant (1:45 p.m.) and Ratio Assurance for Spray Foam Insulation (2:45 p.m.).

Finally, the show concludes on Saturday with The Top Ten Employment Law Mistakes Insulation Contractors Make (9:00 a.m.) and the ICAA Golf Tournament (11:00 a.m.).

Meanwhile, the ICAA Trade Show will be open from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
