Passionate about commercial painting and running successful large companies’ Founders, Aaron Moore and Steve Hester, realize the continuous need to be innovative, passionate and resourceful.  It became clear that there was a lack of resources available to painting companies of a certain size, especially those serving the commercial market.  Over the past year they have settled on a model for a new professional trade association. 

The organization is the Commercial Painting Industry Association. The member-based organization will center around regional non-competing peer groups of industry leaders trained, placed, and facilitated by the CPIA staff. Additionally, it is their intention to hold conferences, provide educational resources, and create opportunities to network with commercial painting contractors around the globe.  

Founding member Aaron Moore, President of Precision Painting & Decorating, has come to realize “There is a large gap of resources in the painting industry for the commercial painting business owner. Being at the top can cause you to feel isolated. Our our goal is to connect industry leaders on a deeper level, more than just “shop talk”, through our peer group model.”

“According to Steve Hester, founding member and President of Hester Painting and Decorating, “Having experienced first-hand the need in our industry, we are excited to formalize a solution for the commercial painting market. We are bringing some of the sharpest minds and talent to the table to share their methods and explore ways to grow.”
