CoatingsPro Magazine 2020 Contractor Awards Program Opens With Upgrades

After three successful years, CoatingsPro Magazine has commenced its fourth annual Contractor Awards Program and enhanced the program with several new upgrades for 2020.

Designed to acknowledge the outstanding work of coatings contractors that demonstrate excellence in the field of high-performance coatings, the awards program acknowledges six categories:

  • Commercial Concrete
  • Commercial Roof
  • Industrial Concrete
  • Industrial Steel
  • Specialty Project (any project that doesn’t fit into the other categories)
  • Contractor/Crew MVP

There are several new enhancements for the 2020 Contractor Awards Program, including an option to use a web-based submission form, an extended period for project eligibility (up to two years from one year), and the possibility to submit on behalf of a contractor (in years past, only the contractor could submit).

Each award submission will be rated by the CoatingsPro Editorial Advisory Group, which is made of industry experts. The judges will evaluate the projects in accordance with specific guidelines that consider criteria such as challenges and problem solving, compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, monetary savings, innovation, efficiency, and/or the unique nature of the project.

There is no fee to submit a nomination, which should include details and photos of the project. The deadline for nominations is November 15, 2019.

Winners will be announced at NACE International’s CORROSION 2020 Conference and Expo in Houston, Texas, in March and in the May 2020 print and digital issue of the magazine.
