Silane 40 SB VX is a solvent-based, breathable, deep-penetrating, water repellent for concrete, masonry, and block. It protects by eliminating water intrusion which keeps harmful chemicals like deicing salts from entering the slab. Keeping water from entering the material also reduces issues related to freeze/thaw cycles and keeps rebar rust free.
Silane 40 SB VX does not change the appearance of the concrete or create a slip hazard but creates a long lasting hydrophobic coating throughout the pores of the material.
