Boston Welcomes ABX 2018 Building, Design Show

The Boston Society of Architects (BSA) was established in 1867, thus making it one of the oldest and largest chapters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). The BSA currently consists of nearly 4,500 members and produces content for numerous programs and publications, including the ArchitectureBoston Expo (ABX) and ArchitectureBoston magazine.

The group’s ABX 2018 conference takes place this week at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts, from November 28–29, 2018. The expo is the largest building and design trade show and conference in the Northeast and is expected to attract approximately 8,000 architects, builders, contractors, and design professionals, as well as more than 300 exhibiting companies. If you're attending don't forget to stop by the CoatingsPro booth: 1157.

ABX 2018 Features

Founded in 1986 as BuildBoston, the show was rebranded in 2012 as ArchitectureBoston Expo. Key features of ABX 2018 include the following:

Design Technology Throwdown: An annual competition in which teams face off to design the best solution to a mutual design problem.

Approximately 100 workshop sessions are planned as part of ABX’s educational track.
