PlanGrid Named to JMP Securities' 2018 List of "Hot 100 Privately Held Software Companies" for Second Consecutive Year

PlanGrid, the leader in construction productivity software, today announced it has been recognized as one of 2018's "Hot 100 Privately Held Software Companies" by JMP Securities. The Hot 100 list is determined each year by the investment firm based on multiple criteria including financial growth, products and services, quality of the leadership team and market potential.

"Demand for productivity in the construction industry is at an all-time high, and we are working harder than ever to drive success for our customers by delivering the technology they need to work as efficiently as possible," said Tracy Young, co-founder and CEO of PlanGrid. "So far this year, we've developed new product innovations, grown our partner ecosystem with best-of-breed integrations and added distinguished leaders to our executive bench — and we're still just getting started. I'm so proud of our team, and it's an honor to be recognized by JMP Securities."

PlanGrid is accompanied on the 2018 Hot 100 list by other notable private software companies including Stripe, Slack, Asana, Gainsight and Anaplan.

PlanGrid's inclusion on the Hot 100 list in 2018 is demonstrative of the company's rapid market expansion. Its platform is used globally on over one million construction projects in almost 100 countries. The company works closely with some of the highest-grossing owners, general contractors and subcontractors in commercial, heavy civil, healthcare and other construction segments, providing easy-to-use software that increases productivity on job sites and in the office. PlanGrid recently announced significant advances to its technology platform, along with 200 percent year-over-year growth in the heavy civil segment and accelerated momentum with subcontractors in all segments.
