EC-102 is the newest fast-drying, high-performance, polyaspartic topcoat from Westcoat Specialty Coating Systems. The product is thicker and stronger than many typical polyurethane builds, and it is available as a clear coat or in any standard topcoat color.

Product Benefits

Originally designed to combat tire staining and plasticizer migration, EC-102 is expected to emerge as a highly competitive topcoat in the polyaspartic marketplace, according to the provider.

The product is a two-component, 80-percent solids topcoat that provides a non-yellowing, high-gloss, fast-drying, medium-build finish with strong wear resistance. It should only be applied where high odor and flammable materials are permitted.

Areas for Application

With a chemical resistant formula and simple application, EC-102 can be used on industrial floors, garage floors, decorative floors, restaurant floors, food processing facilities, automotive service areas, airplane hangars, commercial pool decks, or anywhere that a medium build and high sheen is desired.

It is particularly ideal for garage and tire service areas, as it designed to combat tire staining, according to the provider. The product can be installed over a variety of epoxies, and it can also be applied over color chips and quartz sand.
