Remote Monitoring System Offers Equipment Alerts

Designed to monitor conditions and control the operation of dehumidification, cooling, and heating equipment, Polygon’s Exact-Aire 4 remote monitoring system allows users to connect to current data through a simple Internet connection or via cellular devices.

The system delivers detailed alert messages that include the nature of fault, time, and location, with durable sensors placed throughout the space to enable continuous recording of conditions, according to the climate control equipment provider.

Immediate Alerts

Programmable parameters are monitored and used to active and deactivate climate control equipment as ambient conditions change. Meanwhile, battery backup enables a “power failure” message to be sent to users in the event of an emergency.

“When you use ExactAire 4, you will be alerted to an equipment problem immediately,” said Russ Brown, sales director at Polygon. “As a result, an operation technician can be sent out immediately before you lose conditions in the controlled space.”

Avoids Blast, Coatings Repairs

Conditions in the space are monitored, logged, and transmitted to a secure website, and customers can access the condition log on the website at any time.

According to the manufacturer, the system helps contractors avoid costly blast and coatings repairs due to lost conditions. In addition, the wireless format eliminates the need to manage cables at the jobsite.
