LumaSense Introduces New Innova 1512 Gas Detection Monitoring

LumaSense Technologies, Inc. announces the release of the INNOVA 1512 monitor for highly accurate, reliable multi-gas monitoring in various field, process, or lab conditions.

The INNOVA 1512 replaces the INNOVA 1412i and 3434i and joins the LumaSense INNOVA family of gas monitors, leveraging trusted Photoacoustic Spectroscopy (PAS) and Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) technologies to accurately determine gas concentrations. The 1512 measurement system is based on the photoacoustic infrared detection method, and can measure almost any gas that absorbs infrared light.

Gas selectivity of over 300 gases is achieved by selecting specially designed and selected multi- element optical filters. With the capability to install up to five filters, the 1512 can measure the concentration of up to five component gases and water vapor in any air sample. To ensure accuracy, the monitor can compensate for temperature and pressure fluctuations, water vapor interference, and interference from other known present gases. Functions of the 1512 can also be expanded with an optional Analog/Relay Interface Module.

This versatile gas monitor is useful in a number of application areas including occupational health and safety measurements, anesthetic agents in hospitals, agricultural/greenhouse gas emissions, exhaust in chemical processes, indoor air quality (IAQ), and tracer gas ventilation/air exchange.

The instrument will be officially introduced by LumaSense during SENSOR+TEST show in Nürnberg/Germany (June 26 – 28) as major attraction on the LumaSense booth 305 in Hall 5

With the acquisition of INNOVA in 2006, LumaSense has almost 40 years of experience in innovative, high-performance gas sensing technologies and solutions.
