It can withstand operating temperatures up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, with long-term durability in conditions up to 300 degrees. 3M™ VHB™ Tape GPH is a permanent bonding solution that uses a durable acrylic adhesive and an acrylic foam core, maintaining strength and conformability even at extreme temperatures. 3M VHB Tapes, including the new GPH series, replace traditional mechanical fasteners, subsequently eliminating processes like drilling, grinding, refinishing, screwing, welding and associated rework/clean-up.
