EarthCam’s Premieres Construction Time-Lapse for its New Headquarters

WHAT: EarthCam officially opened the doors to its new 10-acre headquarters in Northern New Jersey: The EarthCampus. Hundreds of the webcam technology leader’s clients, industry partners and media personalities joined the EarthCam team at the grand opening party to celebrate, which featured a special concert by Grammy Award-winning musician and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Elvis Costello. EarthCam is commemorating this major milestone with the release of a new time-lapse movie showcasing construction for the new headquarters.

WHY: The LEED-certified workspace was designed by Steven M. Davis, FAIA, of Davis Brody Bond in collaboration with Spacesmith. The architectural team transformed the old factory site into a vibrant campus aimed at boosting employee health and collaboration.

Visitors are greeted by an enormous, sloping 25-foot tall video portal encased in an almost 3-story glass curtain wall atrium. Floor to ceiling windows and skylights bring the outdoors in, providing natural light to the open, organic work spaces throughout the building. The employee-centric green headquarters reinforces the company’s commitment to employee wellness and promotes a healthy physical work environment.

“We wanted a space that would reflect our company’s energetic culture, where art and technology combine to inspire both our customers and growing team,” said Brian Cury, CEO and Founder of EarthCam. “I’m most proud of the campus’s outdoor experiences that support a healthy lifestyle and fun collaborative spaces that will continue to fuel our innovative spirit. Elvis Costello, one of the most influential artists known for his four-decade-long record of innovation, rocked the house and was a natural choice for the headlining performance at our grand opening party.”
