Petersen Coatings Expands Endures B.V.’s International Corrosion Control Footprint

Effective October 2017, Petersen Coatings of Murcia, Spain,  joined efforts with Endures B.V. of Den Helder, Netherlands, to increase Endures’ offerings to the international protective coating and corrosion control market. 

John Petersen of Petersen Consulting, brings over 30 years of experience in marine and off-shore coating inspections, assessments, and failure analysis to Endures’ extensive laboratory services and expertise in asset protection. Specifically, Petersen is tasked with enlarging Endures’ global footprint in coating condition assessment and life expectancy, vessel and marine structure coating condition assessment and life expectancy. Additionally, John will promote Endures’ expertise in product performance testing of both antifouling and steel preservation coatings.  

In conjunction with Endures’ state-of-the-art laboratories, Petersen will provide asset owners an objective means of determining current and expected life conditions of coating systems. His responsibilities include working with leading-edge diagnostic tools, such as Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and Endures’ extensive background in the areas of coating life expectancy and product performance. He will also promote Endures’ comprehensive laboratory tools for failure analysis, antifouling performance testing and for its expertise in identifying microorganisms responsible for Microbial Induced Corrosion.
