The consumer brands division of Sherwin-Williams Canada is now including Krylon Industrial’s high-performance liquid coatings, specially formulated for industrial, institutional, and commercial use. |
The Krylon Industrial line, intended for light to moderate industrial use, is aimed at professionals. The line includes alkyd and acrylic enamels, as well as a variety products such as epoxy and urethane coatings, industrial primers, solvents, and thinners.

“The Krylon Industrial line lends considerable added value to our portfolio of brands, while reinforcing our competitive position in the Canadian marketplace,” said Ahin Bose, director of marketing for Sherwin-Williams Canada’s consumer brands division.
“Targeted to professionals, it is an appreciable addition to our current range of products,” Bose added. “This line of high-performance, light industrial coatings provides an enhancement to our traditional architectural products and is certain to be well received by Canadian paint dealers. It provides them with the potential to grow their businesses and expand their customer base.”
Formulated for challenging environments, multiple brand references are designed to satisfy the needs of industry and commercial and residential builders, as well as businesses, public and private institutions, and sports organizations.
Formulating a Canada-Specific Strategy
The incorporation process entailed the development of a marketing program specifically tailored to the Canadian market, with technical support services, point-of-sale materials, a product catalog, and color charts.
Krylon Industrial products are already available at a number of points of sale, including hardware stores, paint stores, and building supply centers. Sherwin-Williams added that it is in the process of expanding its product presence across Canada with an emphasis on paint retailers and attracting new customers.
