Marco Boosts Size of Heated Coating Tanks

Marco is increasing the size of its heated coating tanks line by adding the Spraymaster 60 Gallon Heated Coatings Tank.

The tank is used to hold, heat, and blend a coating material, and the round tank design allows for even mixing and heating of the coating.

Tank Specifics

The large capacity tank accommodates up to 60 gal (227.1 L) of material used with high-production plural coating systems. It features an electric immersion heater that maintains a consistent temperature of a liquid solution, which transfers heat to the coating material in the tank.

This heat transfer reduces the viscosity of the material, allowing for improved blending by a pneumatically driven agitator.

“The increased volume of this heated coating tank will allow customers to efficiently heat and agitate large volumes of coating material, and pairs nicely with our short skid Spraymaster EP product line,” said Matt Molumby, vice president of engineering, manufacturing, and technology at Marco.

Service Details

In addition to the product line, Marco says its service team is available to travel to a customer’s location to perform in-field repairs and/or train a customer’s staff on how to use the tank.

Blast and paint equipment, including the heated coatings tank, can be evaluated and serviced on location or at one of Marco’s service centers around the United States.

“Our service team includes the most experienced technicians in North America, with hundreds of years of cumulative experience related to your operations,” the company said.
