Chicago Pneumatic has launched a new generation of its best-selling CP6120 Series premium industrial impact wrench. The new impact wrench sets a high standard of performance and value, delivering more power and ergonomics to maintenance, repair and operations personnel, yet at a very competitive price. The CP6120-D35H/L 1 ½ inch industrial wrench is a very powerful tool and has a high impact rate of 960 BPM. The maximum torque of 3600 ft.lbs (4880 Nm) for only 34.5lbs (15.6 kg) allows users to tighten and untighten bolts up to a large M36 size, and the reverse torque is higher than in its predecessor making it suitable for tough disassembly applications, for example shut-down and decommissioning of refineries, pipelines, platforms.
The impact wrench is robust and rugged with a steel clutch housing and aluminum body, meaning it provides high reliability in the harshest uses. Furthermore, the CP6120-D35L model is available with a spline drive that gives better contact between output shaft and socket. As such, it delivers better quality of assembly as higher torque is transferred to the bolt. It delivers more efficient tightening and untightening with a shorter impacting time, which reduces operator fatigue and prolongs the life of tool and sockets.
