PDA Announces 2016 Applicator Spray Course Schedule

The First Course
The first Applicator Spray Course of 2016 will be March 6 - 11, 2016 at Diamond Liners' facility located in Santa Fe Springs, California. Click here to register today.

PDA's Applicator Spray Course identifies the many elements involved in the successful operation and set-up of polyurea spray equipment and phases of hot spray polyurea application. It gives attendees an in-depth analysis of commercially available equipment designs and necessary hardware components to ensure successful operation and spray application of polyureas. Course attendees will learn important aspects of application process, substrate preparation, when to use primer, and will have valuable field spray time.

Proper PPE Gear
All attendees should bring (at a minimum) a half face dual cartridge respirator, and it should be fitted with organic vapor cartridges with P99 particulate filters. Attendees will also be responsible for bringing Tyvek coveralls, shoe covers and head cover "Spray Sock." Should attendees need to purchase a respirator, please click here.

Course should be approved and fit tested for the respirator that they bring. For ones wearing a negative pressure respirator, they should also be clean shaven as not to restrict the sealing of the respirator and conform to all OSHA regulations .

Attire

For your safety, please wear long pants and long sleeve shirts and closed toes shoes on days when spraying polyurea.  It is suggested to wear clothing that can be ruined. Each attendee should make sure to bring their own Tyvek coveralls, shoe covers as well as head cover "Spray Sock" as noted above.
