It
seems like we only just left the 2014 Polyurethane Technical Conference in
Dallas and they are already calling for papers and posters for their 2015 event - where you can take advantage of more networking opportunities and learn key
industry information from experts from industry, academia and government.
The
2015 Polyurethane Technical Conference will take place on October 5 – 7 at the
Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Even though the conference is nearly a year away, it is time to begin thinking
about submissions for posters and papers – as well as the Innovation Award.
Innovation Award
Innovation award submissions are due next summer, and you will see more
information on it in the early part of next year.
Papers and PostersPapers can address innovations and developments involving polyurethane
chemistry or uses, including new polyurethane products or applications; raw
material or additive innovations; or breakthroughs in equipment design or
operation.
Papers and posters also may focus on issues associated with the manufacture,
use, handling, transportation, disposal, and end-of-life of polyurethanes, as
well as health, environmental and product stewardship issues. Regulatory and
legislative topics, code and standard developments are
also welcome as paper and poster topics.
Criteria
for paper and poster abstracts include originality and relevance of the topic.
Paper and poster abstracts will be judged by a panel of technical and industry
experts. Paper presentations are judged on both technical merit and the quality
and effectiveness of the speaker, and clarity of the presentation. Awards will
be presented at the conference in September to recognize outstanding papers and
posters in relevant categories.
Paper abstracts are due February 2, 2015. Submission instructions and
guidelines for development of papers and posters can be
found here. Poster abstracts are due August 3, 2015.
